Frank Lopez is a shareholder with Glade Voogt Lord & Smith. His practice focuses on employment law, sports law, internal investigations, compliance, business crimes, regulatory matters, and complex civil litigation (including class action litigation). Frank is a former Assistant United States Attorney, Deputy District Attorney, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Senior Trial Attorney, and has served as in-house counsel to Fortune 500 companies. Frank is well versed in all aspects of civil and criminal litigation; he has tried more than 50 cases to verdict and has personally handled numerous depositions, evidentiary hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences. Frank is also experienced in handling investigations before the NCAA, including proceedings before the NCAA’s Committee on Infractions, and is a zealous advocate for coaches and players alike. Frank has counseled and represented numerous individuals and businesses regarding employment disputes, internal investigations, executive agreements, non-compete agreements, and severance agreements. Currently, Frank serves as a compliance monitor pursuant to a U.S. Federal District Court Consent Decree.
